The Puna Community Development Plan (CDP) Action Committee has been appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the County Council. The Committee's first meeting is being held today, November 20, 3-5 p.m. at the Kea‘au Community Center.

Members of the public are welcome to attend the Puna CDP Action Committee meetings and are encouraged to participate with the implementation of the Puna CDP.

The Puna CDP Action Committee members are:

The Puna CDP Action Committee will serve as a proactive, community-based steward of the plan’s implementation and update. Action Committee members  attend monthly meetings, meet with supporting partners, participate in training workshops and attend public involvement meetings, and workshops and serve as a source for promoting and sharing information about the Puna CDP with individuals and community groups.
