Driver's license offices update hours, services

Driver’s License Offices in Hilo, Kona and Waimea are open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The following identifies the times available for specific services:

Hilo

8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Written Tests

8 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. License/Permits, Renewals & Duplicates,

8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Parental Signatures are accepted

8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Road Tests (first come first served)

1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Road Tests (first come first served)

Kona (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

8 a.m. – 3 p.m. New License / Permits / Written Tests

8 a.m. – 3 p.m. CDL Written Tests / New License

Kona (Monday - Friday)

8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Renewals and duplicates

8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Road tests by appointment only.

Waimea

8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Written Test (New License / Permits)

8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Renewals & Duplicates

12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Written Test (New License / Permits)

12 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Renewals & Duplicates

8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Road Tests (by appointment only)

For appointments in Ka’u call 327-3580. For appointments in North Kohala call, 887-3087.
