Shizuko Teshima celebrates 102 years

Mayor Billy Kenoi proclaims "Shizuko Teshima Day" Tuesday to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of Mrs. Teshima's birth. Her actual birthday is June 24, 1907. The presentation took place a Teshima's restaurant in Honalo where Mrs. Teshima has been the proprietor since 1929. On the right looking on is Wally Lau, county deputy managing director for West Hawaii.
