Mayor Billy Kenoi proclaims "Shizuko Teshima Day" Tuesday to celebrate the 102nd anniversary of Mrs. Teshima's birth. Her actual birthday is June 24, 1907. The presentation took place a Teshima's restaurant in Honalo where Mrs. Teshima has been the proprietor since 1929.
